An integrated methodology.

No single method holds the whole picture. My approach weaves together 15 somatic disciplines — each one a different doorway into the body’s intelligence.

Florian Filtzinger

About Florian

I’m Florian Filtzinger — a somatic educator and body & movement therapist based in Berlin.

Before dedicating myself to somatics, I studied Anthropology and Communication Science at the Free University of Berlin — a foundation that still shapes how I understand the body, culture, and human connection.

Since 2021, I’ve been working part-time at the Fliedner Klinik Berlin, where my focus on trauma held in the body has deepened through direct clinical work with several hundred patients. Alongside trauma, I’ve gained extensive experience working with neurodivergent people across the spectrum — supporting differently talented humans in finding their own embodied pathways. This experience grounds everything I do — it’s where theory meets the lived reality of healing.

My work integrates multiple somatic methods with compassionate inquiry. Deep mentorships in Radical Presence with Christa Cocciole and in Meditation & Philosophy with Mallika Paritosh have profoundly shaped my approach — toward a practice rooted in presence, embodiment, and honest encounter.

What clients often come with

Disconnection, chronic tension, lack of joy, overwhelm, or a sense of being “stuck”.

What we build together

Grounding, regulation, clearer boundaries, and a deeper capacity for choice.

Organisms & Organisations: On Co-Regulation and Resonance — We often describe organisations using analogies to the body. Anatomy speaks of an atlas of the body; architects have modelled entire cities after the human form. How the macro is reflected in the micro, and how this can be applied in a supportive way, is what we explored in this workshop. Using the example of ISMETA, the international organisation of somatic educators and therapists, we examined how organisations behave compared to organisms. Afterwards, we made the phenomena of resonance and co-regulation tangible between everyone in the room. — 6th Berlin System & Body Congress, GST Berlin, 2022
